  • After booking, you will receive a confirmation email with a unique Zoom link. Simply click that link 5–10 minutes before the class starts. If you have the Zoom app installed, it will open automatically; otherwise, it will open in your web browser.

  • It’s great if I can see you and your full mat, though I know this is not always available at home so don’t worry if you have a cramped space and this isn’t possible. Ideally, place your device about 6–8 feet away from your mat. A side view (profile) is usually best so I can see your spine and alignment. If possible, avoid having a bright window directly behind you, as it makes you look like a silhouette.

  • No, you do not need a registered account. You can join as a guest. However, we recommend downloading the free Zoom app on your laptop or phone for the best connection quality.

  • Please check your Spam, Junk, or Promotions folders first, as automated emails often end up there. If you still cannot find it, please email me at least 20 minutes before class so I can resend it to you manually.

  • Life happens! If you are signed up but cannot make it live, you will receive a recording of the class via email shortly after it ends. The recording is usually available for 48 hours so you can practice on your own time.

  • It is your choice. I love it when you are able to keep your camera ON so I can see your alignment and offer verbal adjustments to help you learn. However, if you are having a bad hair day ;) or prefer privacy, you are welcome to leave it off.

  • When you first join, you can say hello! Once the class begins, I will "Mute All" participants. This ensures that background noises from your home (like pets or doorbells) do not disturb the class. You won’t need to worry about muting yourself - but if you have an urgent question you can unmute to ask at any point. I kindly ask you to save anything non-urgent to the end of the class so as to not disturb the flow for the other students.

  • I play a curated playlist of music directly through zoom so this may clash with any music you play. However, since you will be muted, you are free to play your own relaxing music in your space.

  • If your screen freezes, try turning off your video camera, which reduces the internet bandwidth required. If you get disconnected completely, simply click the original link to rejoin the meeting - I’ll be keeping an eye on the waiting room so I can let you back in.

  • It’s helpful to have a yoga mat. If you don’t have blocks or straps, you can use household items! A thick book or water bottle works as a block, and a bathrobe belt or scarf works perfectly as a strap.

  • You just need enough room to roll out your mat! I find practising in small spaces can add a fun dimension to the practise, providing walls to press against and playful tweaks to poses that help you move your body in new and imaginative ways - embrace the space you have!

  • Please email me before class to let me know about any injuries or medical conditions (including pregnancy). I will do my best to support you during the class but since I cannot see you as clearly as I would in person, it is vital that you listen to your body and avoid any movements that cause pain. You know your body best, move slowly and with deep care for yourself.

  • To keep the flow of the class for everyone, please save non-urgent questions for the end. I always stay online for a few minutes after class to chat and answer questions. If you are in pain or confused, you can wave at the camera to get my attention.

  • Wear anything comfortable that you can move and stretch in. Since you are at home, there is no need for brand-name gear—pyjamas, sweatpants, or shorts are all fab.
